High quality metal stampings begin with high quality tooling. Meier Tool & Engineering produces sophisticated Class A Progressive Dies by placing state-of-the-art equipment into the hands of our highly skilled tool and die makers.

The tool and die makers at Meier are assisted by CAD/CAM - generating complex die geometry with complete precision. Tool building is supported through the use of our CNC traveling wire EDM machines - accurate to within .0001 ".

Features of the dies produced by our in-house Tooling Department include:

• Dies are built utilizing high performance materials such as D-2, CPM10V, and Carbide.
• Dies are designed with critical cutting and metal forming stations inserted to minimize die maintenance and improve the ability to accommodate future die modifications if you change your part.
• Dies are often built to be interchangeable, minimizing your tool investment while being capable of producing several versions of a similar part from one tool.
• Dies are electronically protected with in-die sensing, improving the ability to produce quality parts while protecting your tooling investment.

Once our expert toolmakers have completed your progressive die, your part is ready for manufacturing.
